BuyTheDate Legal

Content Policy

BuyTheDate allows short public messages and optional images on calendar tiles. Because the content is publicly visible, some categories are not allowed.

1. What is allowed

BuyTheDate is designed for public, non-interactive display content such as jokes, celebrations, announcements, dedications, slogans, or creative messages attached to a calendar date.

2. Prohibited content

Content is prohibited if it includes hate speech, harassment, threats, sexual or exploitative material, graphic violence, illegal content, impersonation, scams, malware links, personal contact details, doxxing, or any material that infringes another party's intellectual property rights.

3. Moderation model

BuyTheDate uses post-moderation. Content is not queued for manual approval before publication. Instead, the platform uses automated text screening for obvious slurs, threats, and contact-information patterns, validates uploaded image file types and size, and accepts user reports for human review. Admin tools can remove content, resolve reports, and block repeat offenders from future purchases.

4. Enforcement

Violating content may be removed from public view, hidden pending review, or escalated for legal handling. Usernames associated with repeated or serious violations can be blocked from creating new purchases.

5. Reporting and response time

Visitors can report a specific calendar post through the reporting flow linked from the site. BuyTheDate typically reviews actionable reports within 24 hours on business days. Urgent safety, privacy, or copyright issues may be prioritized faster.

6. Contact

Policy questions or escalation requests can be sent to hakanturkmendev@gmail.com.
